Fellowship Program

In pursuit of our mission of fostering junior girls’ golf competition, the WMGA Foundation can provide stipends to assist in the financial cost of tournament entry fees and more through our Junior Girls’ Fellowship Program.

If you are accepted for WMGA Junior Independent Membership, which affords you all the playing privileges and responsibilities of a WMGA Junior Member, you may also apply for the WMGA Foundation Fellowship Program.

This program provides a WMGA Junior Independent Member:

• reimbursement of WMGA entry fees and other tournament related costs up to $500 per tournament season.
• A mentor who will foster good sportsmanship, encourage tournament participation, assist with tournament entry questions, and follow the mentee’s progress. 

To be eligible the applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Show financial need
• Be between 12-18 years of age (must not have reached her 19th)
• Have a USGA Handicap Index
